The 20-year-old sophomore forward for the Wisconsin Badgers says to a teammate, “God, she’s lovely.” Nigel is shocked that everyone in the room heard him, including Deborah, a 43-year-old ASAP Sports stenographer from Riverside, California.
He asked the crowd, suddenly recognizing the seriousness of the situation, “Did you hear that?”

Deborah went from having around 15 followers on Twitter to having over 900. She claims it’s entertaining when the other players try to confuse her with terms because it demonstrates that they are paying attention.

She found Nigel’s joke amusing, but she had no idea how well-known it would end up being.
Sophia, Deborah’s singer-songwriter daughter, tweeted: “I’ve been struggling for years to get out there and my mom is called beautiful by a basketball player and Extra is calling…” “Such as what?” she asked.

Deborah is studying everything there is to know about Twitter since she can no longer maintain a low profile. Basketball players from Wisconsin like to use words that aren’t in their dictionary to try to confuse the stenographers, which makes them type more slowly.
Deborah is just trying to keep up with the social media hype because she didn’t anticipate this to be so enormous, significant, colossal, tremendous, etc.
One of the most prominent players in the NCAA tournament has yet to make a basket or even support his team from the bench.
She attracted the interest of collegiate basketball players, though, since she was good at what she did.
Model Debra Bollman is one. The stenographer caught the attention of Wisconsin players on the interview platform as she typed close to 300 words per minute for the transcripts of the interviews.
Without being aware that Bollman’s headphones were routed into every microphone and that reporters could hear him as well, Nigel Hayes remarked to a teammate, “she’s gorgeous.”
When Bollman grinned and reporters chuckled, Hayes realized his comment had been heard by everyone. Naturally, it spread like wildfire.
The mother of three, 43, was ecstatic.
Bollman remarked, “It was just hilarious.” I didn’t anticipate it to develop in the way that it has. It now has a life of its own. I thought it was adorable and charming at the time.
